Scripture is fundamental to our knowing the will and purpose of God. Our Thursday morning group (St John’s), exploring Scripture verse by verse is on alternate Thursdays at 10:00 am. Our evening group (St Jerome’s), a themed study, is on alternate Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. If you’ve been thinking about joining, or simply waiting for the moment to begin, why not now? There is always room, and you will be very welcome.

Many in our community face hunger each week. Together, we can help. Our Burlington Food Bank collection bin is in the Bell Tower. As usual, non-perishable food is very welcome (canned goods, cereal, pasta, rice, and other useful staples).
Special Thanksgiving Drive:
Burlington Food Bank has shared that there is a particular need for personal hygeine products.

After the service on Sunday, October 25, Grand Matters welcomes Sylvie Nofiele for a practical conversation about the support available to older adults who wish to remain at home. Sylvie will explore a range of options, including companionship, respite care, personalized support, palliative care, and hospice care, helping us understand how different kinds of care can meet changing needs over time. There will be plenty of opportunity to listen, learn, and ask questions in a relaxed setting. Whether you are considering what the future may hold for yourself or supporting a family member or friend, come and learn more about the resources that can help people continue living at home with dignity, confidence, independence, and appropriate care.

A candlelit evening featuring Paul Barna & Friends performing a mix of classical and contemporary music. Paul will host the concert and weave stories, history and background about the music throughout the performance. Parking is available but limited. Guests are encouraged to carpool.
